With principal research and documentation undertaken by Dr. Maria Luisa Camagay of the University of the Philippines History Department and under the editorial supervision of Ester G. Dipasupil, desk editor of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the attractive coffee-table book designed by Benjo Laygo and Nanie Gonzales was intended to be an informative, easy read not only for Ilocos Sur’s young citizens, its primary target, but for those interested in tracing the roots of the province’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Inaasahang dadaluhan ang launching ng Ilocos Surians, representatives from the province’s youth sector, national and local government officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
