Aiko sinipot muna ang annulment hearing bago nag-Boracay
While most stars are now back in Manila from Boracay, ngayong araw lang papunta si Quezon City Councilor Aiko Melendez to the island with her family.
And why not over the Lenten season? Surely, Aiko would have made news back home unlike those who figured in cheap brawls.
In a text message, sey ng konsehala: ‘‘I am hoping that the decision on our annulment case will come out soon since yesterday was the last hearing. After that, it will be up to the court to decide. I am hoping that the court will grant it since Martin and I are happy with our respective lives already, not only on the personal aspect para talagang magkaroon ng fresh start na sa life ko. I realized over the Holy Week na habang buhay tayo, we have to make the most out of life.
“This is also a chance for me to correct yung mga pagkakamali at makakatulong talaga kung legally Martin and I are free and just be the best parents to Marthena.’’
Nito nga raw Semana Santa, all that Aiko did was to reflect upon life. As though lifted from the lines in a script, dagdag ng aktres-pulitiko: ‘‘Kailangan ding pakinggan mo ang sinasabi ng puso mo, hindi lang ang binibigkas ng isip mo para makapagdesisyon ka nang balanse.’’
Nabasa rin pala ni Aiko ang isinulat ko rito sa PSN tungkol sa nalalapit nang pagtatapos ni Martin ng kursong culinary arts, such burning passion that her ex-partner pursued kaya tinalikuran nito ang showbiz.
‘‘I am happy to know that finally his dream of becoming a chef came true. You know, I would always wish the best for him,’’ reaksiyon ni Aiko.
Hindi lang naman towards Martin, ganito ang pananaw ni Aiko as she has kept a best friend in Jomari Yllana, father of Andrei. Surely, her friendship with Jomari has made it easier for Aiko to build the same towards Martin.
Pero nito bang Holy Week, kasama ba sa reflection ni Aiko ang mga plano sa pulitika? Still in the same lengthy text message, sinabi ni Aiko na ‘‘I’m running for vice mayor but I don’t know yet under which party.’’
In the meantime, Aiko just wants to party with her family in Bora. ‘‘Excited nga ako eh, kasi magba-bonding kami ng pamilya ko.’’
Despite the almost endless trade of text messages, sinumpong ako ng aking ‘‘memory gap.’’ Nakalimutan kong itanong kay Aiko kung kasama rin ba sa Bora ang third man in her life… third man in her life raw, o!
