Watching Regine Velasquez in her Saturday Songbird is not seeing her disrobe her Kim Sam Soon character.

As Kim, Regine is made to look like a cotton-stuffed pillow, a sight na walang iniwan sa kanyang nagmumura sa tabang frame in Songbird.

Bale ba, Regine appears to rely on fashion sense, na obvious sa kanyang pagsusuot ng mga revealing outfits that magnify her bigness on TV.

Tuloy, nasasapawan ng kanyang katabaan anumang ganda ng pagkanta niya, her near-obesity (?) upstages her brilliant performance.

Wala bang fashion consultant si Regine? Hindi rin ba ito napapansin ni Ogie Alcasid?

To create an illusion of slimness, Regine should wear more blacks often than bright colors, shouldn’t she?

Mel Tiangco turns a year older and wiser on August 10, bale Sunday din ’yon na natapat sa Mel & Joey nila ni Joey de Leon.

Aware ang kaibigang Gas Gayondato, who now dabbles in talent management, para sa kanyang alagang si Ervin “Vince” David that he can’t have his cake and eat it, too.

Nakapasa kasi si Ervin sa screen test for Magdusa Ka. Instantly, direk Maryo J. delos Reyes offered him an exclusive contract. Kaso, kabilang na pala ang 18 year-old, 6’1” greenhorn na ito sa Circle of 10.

Ervin manages to continue his studies at the Holy Angel University kung saan second year college na siya. He was adjudged Grand Campus Model in 2007. Later, he became website image model for Center for Pop Music Philippines, kung saan he’s taking up voice lessons under Prof. Ryan Manal.

To date, nakalabas na si Ervin sa Jollibee Super Fries commercial at isa sa 69 Bachelors ng Cosmo. His talents include singing, dancing, acting, and modeling.
