Assunta kinumusta ang  kanyang ex

Not only did I expect Jobert Sucaldito’s birthday party to be a night of great food, endless booze and a quaint mix of show­biz and politics – inaasahan ko rin that it would have a night na ma­kakausap ko si Ms. Malou Choa-Fagar as previously ar­ranged.

Our meeting would have tackled bunsod ng aking isinulat dito sa PSN about the way Malou treated two visiting reporters on the set of the Dolphy-Vic Sotto movie somewhere in Pasig City. Despite the no-mention of the reporters’ names, kasunod nito’y ang pagba-ban ni Malou sa Eat Bulaga sa isa sa mga ito, si Enrie Enrile, who later turned out to be the al­leged source ng text message on the lady executive’s death.

Peter Ledesma, who’s close to Malou, was the one who brokered the meeting. Kunin ko rin daw ang panig ni Malou. No problem. I would gladly listen to her side.

Kaso, Malou was said to have arrived at Jobert’s party much earlier. Nang­galing pa kasi ako sa GMA 7 kaya past 9 p.m. na ako nakarating. Upon arrival, I was even craning my nek, hoping to see among the sea of humanity (yes, ganu’n ka-OA ang mga bisita ni Jobert!) kung saan naka­puwesto’t tumutungga ng beer si Malou (many  years ago, also at Jobert’s party in his former San Juan resi­dence, kai­numan ko si Malou).

I was laer told na hindi pala siya nagtagal sa okasyon, she probably stopped by to give her gift to Jobert. But know­ing Malou, lalo pa’t she loves interacting with people, she would have spent longer hourse at the party. To top it all, Malou knew that it would have been her chance to air her side na sabi ko naman to both Peter and Ernie na isusulat ko sa diyaryo (PSN) from which the itemk ori­ginated.

Sayang. This space would have been solely devoted to her just as it was for ther “killer”.

Unchaperoned at Jobert’s party, we were at the same table, habang hini­hintay niyang sunduin siya ng asawang si Jules Ledesma (na nu’ng du­mating didn’t bother to alight from his car). “Nawala kasi ang cellphone ko kaya ’di ko natawagan si Rommel. But two weeks ago, I called up his manager to say that I’m praying for Rommel. Sana ma­lampasan niya ’yon”, sey ni Assunta.
