Kapamilya ng singer na nagluluksa dinapuan ng Dengue
Ang supposed three-part Startalk exclusive on Patrick Garcia and Jennylyn Mercado had to be bumped off upon the latter’s request na rin. But in my opinion, kung ikukumpara ang separate at magkasamang interviews kina Pat and Jen, walang dapat ipag-alala ang aktres.
In fact, Jen displayed a great deal of sobriety. Bagama’t mahinahon siya’t manaka-nakang in tears, her revelations were sharp as double-blade weapons that would have surely stunned the world.
Pero si Joey de Leon na rin ang nag-deliver ng aming editorial: Inirespeto ng programa, hindi lang ang damdamin ni Jen kundi higit ang kanyang kalagayan.
Sa isang banda, if not from a broader perspective, in effect ay nais din lang ni Jen na protektahan si Pat — dahil had the three-part feature story been aired, tiyak Patrick’s career would go to the dogs!

Pasintabi muna ako sa pamilya ng isang beteranang singer as its members must still be in mourning.
Mas pinili na lang manahimik mismo ng worldclass singer na ito para hindi na pagpiyestahan pa ang trahedya that befell her sister whose 17 year old daughter succumbed to dengue.
Ang kuwento, ang pagkaganda-ganda pa raw sanang bata had flown in from Australila for the holiday season. Ilang araw pa lang daw sa bansa, nakaramdam na raw ang bata ng matinding pananakit ng tiyan only to discover that the dengue fever was already in its severe stage.

Speaking of warning, gusto ko lang din paalalahanan si Gerald Anderson that his former landlady, ’yung dati kong schoolmate sa FEU who took up Masters in Story Fabrication with honors, has threatened na ipasusulat daw niya uli sa akin pag tumalbog ang mga tseke ng aktor in her possesion.
Ewan ko kung ano namang transaksyon ’yon, kung may nabili bang condo unit si Gerald na inaahente ng Lolet na ’yon na inaalok din akong bumili. Sa chutzpah! Pagkatapos niyang itanggi that she was my source? Sorry, Lolet, hindi mo linya ang SELLING… puwede pa TELLLING… a lie!
