Ang magic touch ni FPJ

Muling nabuhay ang magic touch ni Fernando Poe, Jr. in his entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival Philippines matagal na nang huling mapanood ang long-reigning King of Philippine Cinema sa Ang Panday, Metro filmfest’s consistent topgrosser.

Nasa molde rin ng Ang Panday ang Ang Alamat ng Lawin. Dinadala nito ang moviegoers sa mundo ng fantasy at adventure. Nakakalamang lamang ang Ang Alamat sa punto ng production at story values, gumamit ito ng best and most modern visual and special effects na talagang napaka-high-tech.

Ang Ang Alamat ay inspiring, the values imparted are very positive. Unity is needed these trying days if the nation is to surpass its problems, as signified in the song Mga Kababayan Ko.

An inspiring story–and figure are the call of the times. And no one can be a more inspiring figure than Fernando Poe, Jr., loved and revered and respected and admired throughout the whole nation. Katulad ng lawin, FPJ soars into the sky.

Kasama ng hari sa pelikula sina Ina Raymundo bilang love interest at apat na bagong child stars as allies in the fight against monsters, ogres, and other evils in our mids – sina Franklin Cristobal, Ryan Yamazaki, Cathy Villar at Khen Kurllo. They were singled out from out of 600 kids who auditioned for the roles. Cathy is the symbol of the sun, "tanglaw na walang hanggan".
