Si Erik Espina ang father ng anak ni Jobelle

Isang letter from the office of Remollo Martinez Raz & Associates ang na-receive ko bilang reaction to my article about Robin Padilla that came out last April 20.

Na-mention sa nasabing article ang sinabi ni Robin Padilla sa isang interview during the presscon of Videoke King ang tungkol sa sinabing anak niya kay Jobelle Salvador. Sinabi ni Robin na wala naman siyang tinatanggihan basta sabihin sa kanya ng girl na siya ang father, walang problema sa kanya. Kaya nang sabihin sa kanya ni Jobelle ang bata, tinanggap niya. Na-mention ang name ni Mr. Erik Espina dahil sinasabing nagki-claim din siyang father ng anak ni Jobelle.

Here’s the letter na nagsasabing si Mr. Espina ang real father ng anak ni Jobelle base sa decision ng court.

Dear Ms. Salve:

Greetings! I am writing you in behalf of my client Mr. Erik Miguel Espina regarding the column you wrote (20 April 2002/Pilipino Star Ngayon) featuring Robin Padilla.

Briefly, the Law Office is attaching for you and your readers information, as well as Mr. Padilla’s enlightenment, a Decision handed down by the Regional Trial Court of Makati, Branch 143 docketed as Civil Case No. 96-1264 entiteld "Erik Miguel Espina vs. Jobelle Salvador, and John Doe, the dispositive portion of which reads:

"WHEREFORE, the court rules in favor of petitioner. Custody over the minor Jeremiah Joseph Leroy Salvador is hereby awarded the father, Erik Miguel Espina."

SO ORDERED."

The case stemmed from Mr. Espina’s Petition that he be declared/recognized as the father the child Jeremiah ‘Miko’ Salvador, and that he be granted custody of said child.

In summary, the Court declared: 1) Mr. Espina as the true father of subject child based on evidence presented during the hearing e.g. LCA Testing from St. Luke’s Hospital; supporting testimony of the Head of Pathology Department; letter written by Ms. Salvador admitting Mr. Espina as the real father, 3 picture albums etc., 2) Mr. Espina has been granted custody over Miko Salvador. Kindly feel free to peruse over the attached Decision on the pertinent points in question or to call us.

Further, during the pendency of above case, our office made sure this would be kept from media’s bent for a "feeling frenzy" (for the child’s sake) accompanying controversies of this nature.

Bakit kaya may mga issue na for sale ang GMA 7? Actually sa kanilang on line report, sinabi ng GMA Network, Inc. Chairman/President and CEO Felipe Gozon na GMA is not looking for buyers of its shares at this time. Ayon sa report, the majority stockholders of GMA Network have no immediate plans of selling a stake of the company especially at this time when the company has become very profitable.

Wala nang problema si Diether Ocampo sa pamilya ni Andrea Bautista na balitang girlfriend ni Diet. Okey na kasi kay Bong Revilla si Diether at mismong si Bong na ang nagsabi na wala namang problema si Diether sa pamilya niya.

Very often na kasing magkasama sina Andrea and Diet although walang confirmation sa dalawa.

At any rate, part si Andrea ng Seven Star Production na binuo ng magkakapatid under Imus Productions Inc. First offering nila ang Kilabot at Kembot starring Bong and Assunta de Rossi.

Following the box-office success of the movie Got 2 Believe, Star Cinema will be releasing the said movie sa VCD. Marami nang naghihintay sa nasabing VCD dahil gusto nilang magkaroon ng souvenir ng pelikula na almost two-months pinalabas sa mga sinehan bago namaalam si Rico Yan.

Ang nasabing VCD comes with a bonus VCD entitled "Got 2 Believe In Life: Remembering Rico Yan." The said VCD will also feature never before shown behind the scene footages of the movie and the Magandang Tanghali Bayan Special "We Love You Rico."
