Gloria shares award w/daughter, grandson

Inihahandog ng veteran actress na si Gloria Romero ang kanyang karangalang natanggap para sa pelikulang Tanging Yaman sa kanyang anak na si Marites at apo. Ang pelikula ay prodyus ng Star cinema ang kino-consider ng country’s no. 1 film outfit dahil sa innumerable at admirable movies na kanilang ginagawa. Huling nanalo ng best actress si Gloria sa FAP.

Said Gloria as she clutched her trophy close to her heart: "I’ve never been so happy. I am grateful not just to the Film Academy but to Star Cinema as well. I want to thank everybody involved in the making of Tanging Yaman. The director, Laurice Guillen, my co-stars and the crew.

"I want also to share this award with my daughter Maritess and my grandson," she concluded.

Amy Austria was awarded the best supporting actress trophy for another Star Cinema movie, Anak. Ms. Guillen was adjudged best director for Tanging Yaman which was also given the best picture award.

Ricky Lee and Raymund Lee won the best screenplay for Anak. Ramon Reyes was the recipient of the best sound trophy for Tanging Yaman.
