Premiere night ng ‘What Women Want’

Sa tradisyon ng Charlie’s Angels at iba pang blockbuster movies na pina-premiere ng DWTM 89.9 sa pakikiisa ng Pioneer Films ang special advance screening for clients of What Women Want starring Oscar winners Mel Gibsons (Braveheart), Helen Hunt (As Good As It Gets), and Marissa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny), ngayong Lunes, January 29, Monday sa SM Megamall Cinema 3. Regular showing of the film will begin on January 31.
Ang What Women Want ay romantic comedy tungkol kay (Gibson) who, as a result of a freak accident, acquires the ability to do what every man ever born wants – the power to read women’s minds.
Sa Amerika, ang What Women Want had a record-breaking opening with a 3-day gross of $35 million. Ito ang pinakamataas na weekend gross for a Mel Gibson movie and the biggest opening for a romantic movie eclipsing Notting Hill’s $23-million last year.
Sa bansa, the movie is being eagerly awaited by the traditionally romantically-inclined Filipinos. "I’m sure our listeners will enjoy this movie very much," says Bernie Buenaseda, Senior Vice-President of Quest Broadcasting who also reveals that DWTM will soon have a contest open to its listeners where they stand a chance to watch live the most prestigious and star-studded event in music, the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards na gaganapin sa Los Angeles, USA.
What Women Want is directed by Nancy Meyer, na ang directorial debut ay ang hit remake na The Parent Trap.
