Digital transformation, cure for data chaos
MANILA, Philippines — Today’s dynamic and fast-paced business environment brings a multitude of data that comes from multiple sources, in different formats — from traditional paper documents to digital files. With this, it is undeniable that we are now in, as experts say, the era of “Data Chaos.”
?In order to keep up with today’s steady demands of efficiency and growth, businesses and organizations are starting to connect the physical and digital data worlds through the inevitable digital transformation.
“The problem of every business is not whether the shift to digital needs to be made, but more importantly, ‘where should they begin.’ The answer is quite simple: digital transformation starts with information capture – the challenge Kodak Alaris solves better than anyone,” said Chuck Castro of Microimaging Sales and Services Inc., the exclusive document imaging distributor of Kodak Alaris in the Philippines.
Recently, Kodak Alaris officials were in Manila to reintroduce the brand and present the Alaris S2000 Series, the brand’s next generation of IN2 Ecosystem scanners designed to “eliminate complexity in capturing information, simplify and improve the way people work.”
The S2000 Series includes the S2050 and S2070 models with USB connection; and the S2060w and S2080w, which are wireless/network models that offer nominal speeds between 50 and 80 pages per minute. These scanners also boast features, which include an active feed technology that perfectly aligns pages to avoid misfeeds and multifeeds; embedded image processing that delivers crisp, high-quality images without depending on one’s PC; and perfect page technology, which optimizes image quality on every page for accurate information extraction.
“The Alaris S2000 Series scanners help solve digital transformation challenges of modern day enterprises. These document scanners offer productivity features that provide faster and more comprehensive responses to its customers, therefore resulting in higher satisfaction and loyalty,” Castro said.
