Dumaguete LGU sets job fair on Nov. 5

CEBU, Philippines – The Dumaguete City government, through its Public Employment and Service Office (PESO),  will hold a local job fair on November 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Robinson’s Place mall, in-line with the new administration’s thrust to involve the private sector in providing employment to the people.

Maria Soccoro Mira, head of the Dumaguete City’s PESO, has advised jobseekers to pre-register at the PESO Office located at the 2nd floor of the Dumaguete City Public.

Jobseekers should bring with them at least three copies each of the following documents: Resume or biodata, photo copies of transcript of records, at least a high school diploma, certificate of training, and employment certificate, among others.

The job fair is being held in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment and various local businesses, said Mira, adding that jobseekers may also call telephone number 226-3530 for more information about the event. (FREEMAN)
