This tower will be built by Odin Energy at Catbalogan City’s Skycity Mega Project, and company and city government executives had ironed out matters involving the main construction contract and signatories, some revisions of the original design, start of the construction works, equities and capital sharing, and power production usage, among others.
Initial information obtained from the City Hall showed that the Odin Wind Energy Tower will start construction in six months time, at a total cost of about US$2.4 million.
Sources from the City Hall also informed that the original 11-storey tower type structure was revised to 13 storeys, the additional two floors of which will be used as viewing deck and restaurants to cater to visitors and tourists.
