Fire razes house, causes P600K damage

ILOILO CITY, Philippines - — An estimated P600,000 worth of property was lost in a fire that razed a house at Barangay Cauayan in Pototan town of Iloilo on Monday evening.

Police said the 30-minute fire that broke out at 7:30 p.m. ate up the house of Marilou David along with two family-owned motorcycles. No one was reported hurt in the incident, according to a PNA report.

SPO3 John Pasaporte, public information officer of the Pototan Police Station, said fire authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire.  (FREEMAN)
