7 Negros Occidental police chiefs relieved
BACOLOD CITY , Philippines — Seven police chiefs in Negros Occidental have been ordered relieved and transferred by Camp Crame, in relation to the Oct. 28 barangay elections.
Senior Supt. Milko Lirazan, provincial police director, had confirmed the relief of three city and four municipal police chiefs, effective October 12, who were temporarily assigned to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in this city.
Affected by the reshuffling, who have served in their positions for more than two years, and their corresponding replacements, were:
1) Superintendent Rosauro Francisco, chief of the Silay City Police, who was replaced by an officer-in-charge, Supt. Jacob Crisostomo;
2) Supt. Calixto Mabugat of Kabankalan City Police, replaced by Supt. Salvador Dagoon as the OIC;
3) Chief Inspector Eduardo Corpuz of La Carlota City Police chief, replaced by Sr. Insp. Gary Alan Resuma;
4) Senior Insp. Anthony Burgos of Valladolid Police, replaced by Chief Insp. Luisito Acebuche;
5) Senior Insp. Albert Sy of Binalbagan Police, replaced by Sr. Insp. Mark Darroca;
6) Senior Insp. Robert Mansueto of Moises Padilla Police, replaced by Sr. Insp. Robert Indiape; and
7) Senior Insp. Joshua Villasis of Ilog Police, replaced by Sr. Insp. Edison Garcia. (FREEMAN)
