Negrense survivors of sea tragedy in Cebu to get aid

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — The Negros Occidental provincial government will extend assistance to Negrenses who have survived a maritime tragedy off Cebu last Friday.

Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said he will ask the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office to locate the Negrenses who have survived the sea tragedy and extend assistance to them.

The survivors from Negros Occidental include the crewmembers of 2GO Travel.

Those initially identified were Capt. Reynan Bermejo, apprentice Rayzan Guay, and staff Joey Villa, Edwin Biona, Ronel Verangel and Ke Angelie Grijaldo. Another survivor was Roy Castil of Negros Oriental.  (FREEMAN)
