52nd foundation year: Town mayor to enhance capability of staffs

DANAO, BOHOL, Philippines — Mayor Natividad Gonzaga, during the recent 52nd Foundation anniversary of this landlocked town, said she will enhance human resources through capability training measures for her constituents.

"The training of the staff is of paramount importance," and trainings shall be conducted for them, who she said are the "prime movers of good governance," together with academe, barangay councils, civil society and the grassroots "to make them multi-skilled of the job they're tasked to perform."

The town's celebration, highlighted with agri-fair exhibit and awards and turnover of the 1.8-km farm-to-market road, was attended by her son, Vice Mayor Tom Gonzaga, town officials and 2nd district Rep. Aris Aumentado, among others.

Aumentado, for his part, told the crowd of his promise to put up a P1-million hospitalization program for the constituents of Danao. (FREEMAN)
