Bohol survey: P.Noy scores high satisfaction rate
TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines – President Benigno Aquino III scored +70 as his net satisfaction rating, higher than previous years, according to the Bohol Poll 2013 of the Holy Name University (HNU) in this city, a Social Weather Station affiliate.
The survey said 78 percent of the respondents said they were satisfied with the president’s performance while only 8 percent was dissatisfied.
The same survey, conducted from last March 2 to 22, gave Vice President Jejomar Binay a net rating of +66, a little lower than the +71 rate last year and the +68 in 2011.
In the local front, reelectionist Bohol Gov. Edgardo Chatto achieved net rating of +83 with only 4 percent dissatisfied, while Vice Gov. Concepcion Lim had +61 net rating with only 8 percent discontented.
Reelectionist Rep. Rene Relampagos (1st district) got a net rating of +51 with 11 percent dissatisfied, while Rep. Arthur Yap (3rd dist) got a comfortable net rating of +83 against 3 percent dissatisfied, the survey said.
Bohol Poll 2013 did not include the second district, which was once represented by Rep. Erico Aumentado who died on December 25, 2012. .
The opinion poll interviewed 400 respondents, spread out from 100 respondents for each of the three congressional districts plus 100 more from this city, the survey said.
The survey results presentation conducted last week tackled economic and social issues affecting Boholano community, namely, labor, livelihood and unemployment, poverty, quality of life, role of women, illegal drugs, Insurgency, domestic violence, civil service, and graft and corruption. (FREEMAN)
