2013 Dinagyang Ati, Kasadyahan Fest winners
ILOILO CITY, Philippines – Tribu Panayanon (in photos) of Iloilo City National High School was the champion of the 2012 Dinagyang Ati competition, and bagged the Best in Head Dress and Best in Choreographer special awards, and Best Choreography and Best in Performance awards.
Tribu Ilonganon of Jalandoni Memorial National High School got 1st runner-up honors and the Best in Costume and Best in Music awards.
Tribu Salognon of Jaro National High School was judged 2nd runner-up, while Tribu Milagrosa was 3rd runner-up and Tribu Atub-Atub, the 4th runner-up
City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said this year’s champion, Tribu Panayanon, will automatically represent the city to the Aliwan Festival in Manila and will perform in Singapore.
Meanwhile, Tribu Salakayan of Miag-ao, Iloilo was declared champion in the 2013 Kasadyahan Festival regional competition of festival champions in Western Visayas.
Tribu Kaing of Leon, Iloilo was 1st runner-up, Tribu Bayluhay of San Joaquin, Iloilo (2nd runner-up), Tribu Padagyaw of Dumarao, Capiz (3rd runner-up) and Tribu Mandaragat of San Jose, Antique (4th runner-up). (FREEMAN)
