CEBU, Philippines - Former Pag-IBIG-Region 8 general manager Flor B. Menzon was reelected to the board of directors of the Perpetual Help Credit Cooperative Inc (PHCCI) during its general assembly at the Convention Center in Tacloban City last Sunday.
Under her watch as chairperson of the delinquency committee, Menzon has reduced considerably the delinquency rate of the cooperative from 35 percent to 17 percent.
The PHCCI has 24,000 active regular members and 57,000 associate members. It is among the top 10 cooperatives in the country in terms of capital buildup and assets.
It has branches in Ormoc City and the towns of Dulag, Alang-alang, Babatngon and Carigara, all in Leyte, and in Sogod town in Southern Leyte.
PHCCI will open soon additional branches in Tanauan, Leyte and in Borongan City in Eastern Samar. — Contributed Article (THE FREEMAN)
