TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines — Fifteen more towns were selected for inclusion as beneficiaries of KALAHI-CIDSS in Eastern Visayas, according to DSWD-8 director Leticia Corillo.
The selection was conducted during the information dissemination and municipality selection process of the DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS project held at a hotel in this city recently.
The newly selected municipalities were eight in Leyte province: Abuyog, Alang-alang, Babatngon, Barugo, Burauen, Calubian, Matag-ob and Tanauan.
Four others were in Northern Samar–Bobon, Catarman, Lavezares and Lope de Vega–while the three in Eastern Samar were Dolores, General MacArthur and Llorente. (FREEMAN)
