BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Board, headed by its chairman Daniel Lacson Jr., has continued its dialogue with stakeholders nationwide as part of its objective to bring services closer to the people.
Lacson, who was a former governor of Negros Occidental, said: "We are doing this in our continuing efforts to reach out to our stakeholders around the country."
The latest stump of GSIS top officials was in Tacloban City, attended by provincial, city and municipal officials, regional directors, representatives of various government agencies, pensioners and other stakeholders.
Before Tacloban, the GSIS Board also went to Pangasinan and Nueva Ecija provinces, and Baguio City and Bacolod City where Lacson was accompanied by GSIS senior vice president Dionisio Ebdane Jr.
In the next two months, they will visit Cagayan de Oro and Cebu, said Lacson, adding that stakeholders aired their concerns and complaints for the GSIS officials to act.
