Zubiri to give add'l fund aid for boardwalk development

DUMAGUETE CITY, Philippines – Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri will give additional financial assistance for the construction of the boardwalk along the famed Rizal Boulevard in the city.

Zubiri, in his recent visit here, said he will give P1 million or P2 million for the completion of the project, in addition to the P1 million he earlier gave to the city for the same purpose.

Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria thanked the senator for the financial help to the project at Rizal Boulevard, which is the city’s show window that captivated local and foreign tourists or visitors.

Senators Kiko Pangilinan, Ralf Recto and TG Guingona had in the past shared their priority development assistance fund (PDAF), through the DPWH, for the development of the boulevard.  - THE FREEMAN
