Motorcycle collision: 3 person die, 1 hurt

ILOILO CITY , Philippines  — Three persons were killed while one was seriously injured following a motorcycle collision Brgy. Mclain, Buenavista, Guimaras province Thursday afternoon.

Buenavista Police Station investigator SPO1 Antonio Peregil identified the victims as Arvin Lastimoso, 19, of Brgy. Daragan, Buenavista; Beverlyn Pabalate, 21; and Rustom Amante, 49, of Brgy. Sto. Rosario, Buenavista. Wounded was 13-year old Dexter Pabalate.

Peregil said the victims were riding two motorcycles that collided after they approached a curve in the area.

Reports said that Lastimoso was driving the motorcycle to bring his cousins, Beverlyn, to the wharf. On their way, they had a head-on collision with the motorcycle driven by Amante, who tried to overtake a tricycle while approaching a curved and humped road in Brgy. Mclain.

The victims were rushed to the hospital but the three did not pull through.
