ORMOC CITY, Philippines — Senior Insp. Shevert Alvin Machete, chief of the City Police Station One, was recently conferred with his second "Medalya ng Kagalingan" for the arrest of three suspects in two separate robberies early this year, two of whom were killed while allegedly trying to escape.

Machete earlier got the same medal for the arrest of the so-called Igorot Acetylene Gang last Christmas Day.
