On Monday, DiCaprio was awarded the best actor at the Oscars for his performance in the survival epic "The Revenant." DiCaprio earned a standing ovation as he received his award from presenter Julian Moore. In his acceptance speech, he thanked everyone who has helped him navigate his way into the movie industry. He ended his speech with a heartrending note about the environment.
"Climate change is real.It is happening right now.It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively and stop procrastinating," he said.
