Coach Jeff launches “Man of a million drills” sports apparel

CEBU, Philippines — Noted Cebuano basketball skills trainer Jefferson Codera formally launched his “Man of a million drills” sports apparel on Thursday, October 31, at his family-owned TJ Supermart in Maravilla, Tabuelan.

In naming his clothing brand that includes jerseys, shorts, hoodies and socks, coach Jeff drew inspiration from his American friend Reggie Hearn, a former pro cager who had a brief stint with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA.

Hearn, who currently serves as scout of the San Antonio Spurs, was the one who called Codera as “the man with a million drills” in a sports article published by a US-based newspaper in 2019.

Hearn made the statement in praise of Codera’s level of detail and ingenuity during their one-on-one training in California at that time that became the foundation of their solid friendship.

Codera took Hearn’s words to heart that he branded his apparel business out of it.

A licensed Gold coach of USA Basketball, Codera is a member for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors training camp for a decade now.
