“It was reported that one worker is confirmed dead while five others are buried after a wall collapsed in Tagaytay City in Cavite province yesterday evening,” ani Matula kung saan agad namang nagsagawa ng search and retrieval operations sa  iba pang mga biktima sa nasabing lugar.

“Nagkaisa is asking newly minted Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma or his DOLE Regional Director of Region 4A to conduct investigation and  impose administrative penalties if the workers’ employer is found to have violated the new safety and health law,” pahayag ni Matula .

“Employers are mandated to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Standards. Nagkaisa likewise urges employers to establish Occupational Safety and Health Committees with workers’ representation in all workplaces as mandated by law,” ayon pa kay Matula.
