20 armas isinuko ng solon
MASBATE CITY , Philippines — Iba’t ibang uri ng malalakas na kalibre ng baril ang isinuko sa tropa ng militar ni Masbate reelectionist 1st District Congressman Narciso Bravo Jr., sa Masbate City, Masbate kahapon ng umaga.
Ayon kay Task Force Commander P/Senior Supt. Victor Deona, ang 20 armas ay isinuko ni Bravo sa ginanap na simpleng seremonya sa himpilan ng Special Task Force (STF) Masbate Headquarters.
Kabilang sa isinurender ay isang cal 5.56mm Ultimax Squad automatic weapon, 3-cal. 7.62mm US M14 rifles, 4-cal 5.56 mm US M16A1 rifles, 2-cal. 30 US M1 Carbine, 12 gauge shotgun, cal. 45 Uzi submachinegun, cal. 45 Thompson submachinegun at pitong cal.38 revolver.
“I own some of these firearms while the rest belongs to my political supporters. Some of them are collected through the help of the mayors,” ani Bravo sa kaniyang talumpati.
“I want to support the peace initiatives in the province, noting the efforts of both Congressman Antonio Kho and Governor Elisa Kho who are sincere in their drive to change the image of Masbate,” giit pa ng opisyal.
Naunang nagsuko ng 24 baril si Masbate Gov. Elisa Kho noong nakalipas na linggo.
