Ngunit sinabi ni General Azares na ang kanilang “grievances aired by the policemen had been addressed properly by a team of PNP investigators as directed by General Versoza who wanted to further professionalize the organization. The issue of refunding their money had been discussed and that the issues had been professionally acted upon since the PNP chief himself directed us to look into it,” ani Azares.
Nangako naman si Azares na ang naganap na insidente ay “will not and never happen again due to the PNP transformation program since the undesirables policemen do not deserve to stay a minute longer and have no room in the PNP.”
