RIZAL, Philippines — Inilunsad ng provincial government ng Rizal ang weeklong celebration para sa 1st anniversary ng bagong kapitolyo sa Antipolo City. “Instead of festive moods, the provincial government has lined up a series of activities primarily designed to benefit local folks”, pahayag ni Rizal Governor Jun Ynares III. Magsisimula ang selebrasyon sa Marso 1 kung saan magtitipun-tipon ang mga pamilya mula sa 14 na munisipalidad sa lalawigan ng Rizal. “Seeing families from all over Rizal gather symbolizes close family ties among us. After all, we all wouldn’t be here if not for the significant contribution of this basic unit of society,” dagdag pa ni Ynares III. Bukod sa family day, ang pagdaraos ang anibersaryo ay katatampukan ng jobs fair, thanksgiving mass, teachers’ night (Guronasyon), medical mission, peacekeepers’ awarding (Search for the Best Lupong Tagapamayapa), distribution ng assistance sa Rizal’s 188 barangays at numerous cooperatives, turnover ng fishpen fee shares sa lakeshore municipalities, One Town One Product Congress, livelihood fair, Araw ng Kababaihan at live concert. “We have brought the provincial capitol closer and more accessible to the people and we intend to go even beyond the structural transfer by way of reaching out even to the farthest remote barangays if only to ensure that government services reach the people,” paliwanag pa ni Ynares.
