Nograles binati ang Davao Fil-Chi Community sa selebrasyon ng Chinese New Year
MANILA, Philippines — “We extend heartfelt greetings to all our Filipino-Chinese friends and to the entire Fil-Chi community for a prosperous New Year. We also humbly express our deep gratitude for their unwavering support and fervent commitment to economic prosperity and good governance.”
Ito ang bungad na pahayag ni dating Davao City representative at Civil Service Commission Chair Karlo Nograles bilang pakikiisa na rin niya sa pagdiriwang ng Chinese New Year 2025, na taon ng Wood Snake kung saan base sa paniniwala ng mga Chinese, ito’y sumisimbolo ng magandang kinabukasan, masaganang ani, espiritwal at pagpaparami.
Ayon kay Nograles, hindi matatawaran ang ambag ng Filipino-Chinese businesses sa ekonomiya ng Davao City at binigyan-diin ang mahalagang papel nito sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng lungsod bilang economic at entrepreneurial hub sa Mindanao.
“Our Fil-Chi friends have always been indispensable in driving Davao City commerce forward. You cannot overstate their contributions to the local economy.” sabi pa ni Nograles.
Muling nanindigan si Nograles sa pangangailangan na maging computerize at automated ang pag-iisyu ng pamahalaang lungsod ng business licenses at permits, at maging mahusay din ang database nito upang maging simple at mabilis ang iba’t ibang transaksyon.
