‘Maliciously taken out of logical context’ - VP Sara
Pahayag laban kay Marcos
MANILA, Philippines — “Maliciously taken out of logical context.”
Ito ang iginiit ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa kanyang naging pahayag laban kina Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.; First Lady Liza; at House Speaker Romualdez.
Sa isang open letter na inilabas ni Duterte kahapon sa kanyang social media accounts, kasunod ng pahayag ng National Security Council (NSC), na ang lahat ng banta laban sa pangulo ay iba-validate at ikukonsiderang ‘matter of national security.’
Binigyang-diin ni Duterte na ang national security ay tumutukoy sa proteksiyon ng soberinidad, kaligtasan ng mga Pinoy, at preserbasyon ng ating democratic institutions at sinabing ang function ng NSC ay naka-confine lamang sa pagbuo ng mga polisiya hinggil dito.
“This is in response to the statement made by the National Security Adviser speaking for the National Security Council dated 24 November 2024. National security pertains to the protection of our sovereignty, the safety of the Filipino population, and the preservation of our democratic institutions. The function of the National Security Council is confined to the formulation of policies in furtherance of such pursuits,” wika ni Duterte.
Humingi rin siya ng kopya ng notice of meeting ng konseho, “I would like to see a copy of the notice of meeting with proof of service, the list of attendees, photos of the meeting, and the notarized minutes of meeting where the Council, whether present or past, resolved to consider the remarks by a Vice President against a President, maliciously taken out of logical context, as a national security concern.”
Hiniling rin niya sa NSC na sa kanilang susunod na pulong ay talakayin ang mga banta sa bise presidente, sa institusyon ng Office of the Vice President at mga tauhan nito.
Dagdag pa niya, wala siyang natatandaan na nakatanggap ng notice ng pulong simula noong Hunyo 30, 2022 o simula nang maupo siya sa pwesto bilang bise presidente, kahit pa siya ay miyembro ng konseho.
Nilinaw naman ni Duterte na ang pahayag na kanyang ginawa ay hindi pagbabanta, kundi pagpapahayag ng pangamba para sa kanyang kaligtasan.
