MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag kahapon ng Philippine Navy na binomba ng Chinese vessel ng water cannon ang isang barko ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) sa Bajo de Masinloc (Scarborough Shoal) sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

“Yes, we were informed of a water cannon incident in Bajo de Masinloc by the Chinese Coast Guard vessel towards a BFAR vessel,” pahayag ni Philippine Navy spokesperson Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad sa isang press briefing.

Base sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) public affairs office, natanggap ang impormasyon hinggil sa insidente nitong Martes ng umaga.

“Because of that, we would like to politely defer to the BFAR for their official statement on the issue,” dagdag ni Trinidad.
