MANILA, Philippines — Isa pang Pinoy ang nakumpirmang nasawi sa nangyaring malala­king wildfire sa Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii nitong Agosto 8.

Kinilala ang nasawi na si Rodolfo Rocutan, 76-anyos mula sa Ilocos at kinumpirma rin sa kanyang apo na si Rhe Rocutan Valenzuela sa kanyang Facebook page.

Kasabay nito, nana­wagan din ang pamilya ni Rocutan ng tulong pinansyal para sa gastusin sa burol ng kanyang lolo.

Sinabi ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na magbibigay ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas ng tulong pinansyal sa pamil­ya ni Rocutan.

Nauna nang kinilala ng mga forensic experts sa Lahaina ang mag-inang Pinoy na nasawi na sina Conchita Sagudang at anak na si Danilo na kapwa taga-Abara.

Unang Pinoy na nakumpirma ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na nasawi ay si Alfredo Galinato, 79-anyos na mula sa Ilocos at natura­lized US citizen.

Sa kasalukuyan, uma­abot na sa 23 indibidwal ang kinilala sa may 114 casualties na narekober ng search and recovery team at apat dito ay Filipino-Americans. Mahigit naman 800 katao pa ang nawawala sa naturang wild fire.
