Barangay election Peace covenant isinagawa

MANILA, Philippines - Nagsagawa kahapon ng Peace Covenant for Secure and Fair Election ang may 500 na mga kandidato na tatakbo bilang mga kapitan at kagawad sa San Juan City.

Sinabi ni P/Supt. Joselito Daniel, hepe ng San Juan City Police, ang isinagawang peace covenant ay upang maiwasan ang anumang kaguluhan sa darating na Barangay election sa October 28.

Ganap na alas-9:00 ng umaga nang simulan ang MOA signing ng mga kandidato na ginanap sa San Juan City Police Station mula sa 21 Barangay sa lungsod.

Dumalo rin sa pirmahan si Commission on Election (COMELEC) Officer Atty. Edgar Aringay; Eastern Police District (EPD), CDDS P/Supt. Wilson Caubat; Director of Values Formation Dr. Nicolas Amatori; PPCRV Coordinator Teresita Santiago at mula naman sa PCRG Camp Crame na si P/Supt. Remigio Sedanto.

Ang mga kandidato ay susunod sa rules and regulation ng Comelec at pangkalahatang kapayapaan hindi lamang sa lungsod ng San Juan bagkus maging sa buong Pilipinas sa darating na election.
