Buhay partylist nangunguna

MANILA, Philippines -Sa isinasagawang partial at official canvassing ng Commission on Elections (Comelec), tumatayong National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) ang  Buhay partylist ang siyang nangunguna sa bilangan.
Batay sa datos ng NB­OC, ang Buhay Hayaan Yu­mabong o BUHAY  ay may 1,255,734 boto; nangunguna rin sa bila­ngan ang Advocacy for Teachers Empowerment Through Action Coope­ration and Harmony Towards Educational Reforms na may 1,033,873 boto; Bayan Muna na may 945,639; 1st Consumers Alliance for Rural Energy Inc. na may 931,303 boto; Akbayan Citizens Action Party na may 820,351 boto.

Sumusunod naman ang Ako Bicol na may 761,115 boto; ABONO na may 753,161 boto; OFW Family Club na may botong 735,854; GABRIELA  na may 706,194 boto at ang Coalition of Association of Senior Citizens in the Philippines na may botong 671,916.
Ayon sa batas, ang mga partidong makakakuha ng minimum na 2% ng total valid votes cast para sa party-list system ay makakakuha ng isang pwesto sa Kamara de Representantes ngunit hindi naman pinahihintulutan ang isang partido na makakuha ng higit sa tatlong party-list seats.

Kailangang maka­pag­proklama ng 58 party-list seats ang NBOC, o 20% ng kabuuang bilang ng mga kinatawan sa Kongreso.
