NCAA may citation sa PSA Awards

MANILA, Philippines — Bumabandera ang National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sa mga awardees ng citations sa San Miguel Corporation-Philippine Sportswriters Association (SMC-PSA) Awards Night na idaraos sa Enero 27 sa Centennial Hall ng Manila Hotel.

Nagdaos ang NCAA ng ika-100 taon ng pagtatanghal ng liga nito sa bansa.

Kaya naman sa sele­bras­yon ng kanilang sente­naryo, kikilalanin ito ng PSA sa event na co-pre­sented ng ArenaPlus, Cignal at MediaQuest.

Makakasama ng NCAA ang dragon boat national team, Philippine Volcanoes, weightlifter Angeline Colonia, jiu jitsu bet  Isabella Joseline Butler, powerlifter Regie Ramirez at ang grand slam winner Creamline.

Nasa unahan ng listahan si Carlos Yulo na siyang tatanghaling Athlete of the Year sa programang suportado ng Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Phi­lippine Olympic Committee, Milo, PLDT/Smart, Senator Bong Go, Januarius Holdings, PBA, PVL, 1-Pacman Party List, Rain or Shine, Akari at AcroCity.

Nasa citations din sina Johann Chua at Albert James ‘AJ’ Manas (billiards), Karl Eldrew Yulo (gymnastics), Ruelle Canino (chess), Kheith Rhynne Cruz (table tennis), Marc Dylan Custodio (bowling), Mark John Lexer Galedo (cycling), Lovely Inan (weightlifting), Philippine baseball team, Centennial 7 (sailing), Jessa Mae Tabuan (powerlifting) at Ramon ‘Tats’ Suzara (volleyball).

Hindi malilimutan ang ipinamalas ng Filipino paddlers sa ICF Dragon Boat World Championship na ginanap sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan kung saan itinanghal itong overall champion.
