ORLANDO — Sinabi kahapon ni Miami Heat president Pat Riley na wala silang planong pakawalan si Jimmy Butler.
“We usually don’t comment on rumors, but all this speculation has become a distraction to the team and is not fair to the players and coaches,” wika ni Riley. “Therefore, we will make it clear — we are not trading Jimmy Butler.”
Nilabanan ng Heat ang Magic na hindi kasama si Butler.
Hindi humihiling ang 35-anyos na si Butler ng trade, ngunit ayon sa ilang sources ay gusto ng six-time All-Star na makalipat ng ibang koponan bago ang February 6 deadline.
Ilan sa mga tropang gusto niyang puntahan ay ang Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets at Dallas Mavericks.
“We want Jimmy here. There’s no ifs, ands or buts about it,” wika ni Fil-American coach Erik Spoelstra kay Butler.
