MANILA, Philippines — Isang 19-anyos na lady weightlifter ang bumandera sa kinolektang limang gold medals ng Team Philippines sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games sa Cambodia kahapon.

Ella Alcoseba (wo­men’s full contact live stick/bantamweight) at Dexler Bolambao (men’s full contact live stick/bantamweight) at tig-isa sina kickboxer Jean Claude Saclag (men’s lowkick 63kg) at wrestling pla­ying coach Tina Vergara (women’s freestyle -65kg).

Ang anak ng 45-anyos na si Vergara na si Cathlyn ay may tanso sa women’s freestyle 59kg.

Patuloy ang pagkapit ng Pilipinas sa No. 5 spot sa medal standings sa nakolek­tang 51 golds, 76 silvers at 102 bronzes  habang mayroon nang 119-96-97 medals ang nangungunang Vietnam.

Kumolekta ng bronze sina fencers Samantha Catantan, Janna Catantan, Maricar Matienzo at Justine Tinio (women’s foil team) at Jian Bautista, Rex Dela Cruz, Lee Ergina at Noelito Jose (men’s epee team), kickboxer Lance Villamer (men’s 63kg kicklight) at sina sepak takraw pla­yers Jason Huerte, Rheyjey Ortouste at Elly Jan Nituda (men’s doubles).

Nakatanso rin sina judoka Daryl John Mercado (men’s -55kg) at mga arnisador na sina Noah Gonzalez (men’s full contact padded stick/lightweight), Ezekyl Habig (men’s full contact padded stick/bantamweight) at Niño Mark Talledo (men’s 60-65kg).
