2 windsurfers ng Israel umatras sa Malaysian event

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Tinanggap ng Malaysian government ang pag-atras ng da­lawang Israeli windsurfers para sa idaraos na ISAF world youth sailing championships.

Sinabi ni Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Ja­maluddin sa Malay Mail Online website na ang Malaysia, walang dip­lomatic relations sa Is­rael, “is guided by the existing policy of the Malaysian government.”

Sa Jerusalem, iniha­yag ng Israel Sailing Association na sina windsurfers Yoav Omer at Noy Drihan kasama si coach Meir Yaniv ay hindi sasali sa event na ga­gawin sa Langkawi da­hil wala silang nata­tanggap na visa.

Ito rin ang inireklamo ni Amir Gill, ang chairman ng Israel asso­ciation.
