Mas bagay ang style ni Garcia kay Pacquiao

MANILA, Philippines - Kilalang hindi umuurong sa suntukan si Me-xican-American Danny Garcia at ito ang babagay sa istilo ni Filipino world eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao.

“He’s not the greatest boxer in the world but he likes to let his hands go and he’s a very good puncher,” sabi ni chief trainer Freddie Roach sa 27-anyos na si Garcia. “I think it will compliment Pacquiao’s style very much.”

Kasalukuyang pinapagaling ni Pacquiao ang kanyang inoperahang right shoulder injury at wala pang opisyal na pahayag si Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions kung sino ang lalabanan ni ‘Pacman’ sa susunod na taon.

Nanggaling si Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs) sa unanimous decision loss kay Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (48-0-0, 26 KOs) via unanimous decision noong Mayo 2.

Bukod kay Garcia  (31-0-0, 18 KOs), ang dalawa pang nababanggit na maaaring harapin ni Pacquiao ay sina Amir Khan (31-3-0, 19 KOs) at WBO lightweight welterweight king Terence Crawford (26-0-0, 18 KOs) na nakatakdang hamunin ni Canadian challenger Dierry Jean (29-1-0) sa Oktubre 24.

Ngunit sa tatlo, si Garcia ang mas gusto ni Roach na makalaban ni Pacquiao.

“I hope they try to make that. I think Danny garcia-Manny Pacquiao is a much better fight Pacquiao-Amir Khan,” sabi ni Roach. “I’m a fight fan too. I like good fights.”
