Globe Telecom nagdaos ng football coaching workshop

MANILA, Philippines - Nagdaos ang Globe Telecom ng two-day street football coaching workshop para sa 40 street football communities sa De La Salle Zobel Globe Football Field kamakailan.

“We wanted to equip street football communities with a structured approach to educating underprivileged youth, not just developing knowledge and skills of players but serving as mentors and role models for values formation.  We also wanted to jumpstart communication and networking among street football communities for continued learning after the workshop. Hopefully, this can help bring out the potential in the kids and create more opportunities for them,” sabi ni Issa Cabreira, Vice President ng Globe Prepaid Business.

Nakatuon ang Globe Prepaid sa kabataan sa pagbibigay ng kanilang kailangan sa sports at education para makatulong sa kanilang pag-develop ng physical, mental at emotional well-being.

Ang workshop na bahagi ng Globe Football Para Sa Bayan program ay kinapalooban ng indoor lectures, field engagements, values formation talk at turnover ng street football equipment para sa bawat komunidad.

 Nagpamahagi ng Football Para Sa Bayan Street Football Coaching Manual na gawa ng Green Archers United FC para maging gabay sa pagtuturo sa mga bata at  training ng mga coaches.

 Pinangunahan ni Globe sports ambassador at Globe Green Archers United player Chieffy Caligdong ang mga activities habang ang Gawad Kalinga ang nagturo ng values formation component.
