“Our preparation is not yet on track, but we are getting there,” pahayag ni Chief of Mission at chairman ng Philippine Sports Commission Ricardo Garcia.

“We’re going to send the best athletes at lalaban tayo,” paniniyak ni Garcia.

“It is here in Manila where the first Far East Asian Games was held in 1913, the precursor of the Asian Games. You were probable the best sports program in Asia, 100 years back. We hope that through the athletes’ hard work and the help and support of the POC, you get back to that level you where before,” wika ni Kardany.
