ACCEL 3 XVI UAAP-PC Player of the Week

MANILA, Philippines - Nasa tamang landas ang Pre-season favorite National University para maisakatuparan ang kanilang misyon at walang dudang si center Emmanuel Mbe ang mala-king dahilan nito.

Ang 6-foot-7 Came-roonian ang nagbibigay sa Bulldogs ng kinakaila-ngang inside presence tu-ngo sa kanilang five-game winning streak para sa 8-3 win-loss record sa UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball competition.

Higit sa lahat, dahil kay Mbe ang NU ay nananati-ling kinatatakutan ngayon kahit wala ang kanyang  kapwa Cameroonian na si Alfred Aroga na nabigong kumpletuhin ang kanyang eligibility documents.

Pinatunayan ito ni Mbe noong nakaraang Sabado sa pagtatala ng game-highs na  18 points at 11 rebounds para pamunuan ang Bulldogs sa 81-73 panalo laban sa kulang sa taong University of the East Red Warriors na nagbigay ng matinding hamon.

Sa naturang panalo, sinamantala ni Mbe ang pagkawala ng suspindidong si Charles Mammie partikular sa final  quarter.

“Mammie was not there but I knew it was still going to be a big battle. We just came out to play our game,” sabi ni Mbe na nahirang na ACCEL 3XVI UAAP Press Corps Player of the Week.
