INDIANAPOLIS -- Opisyal na inihayag ng India-na Pacers ang pagpapapirma kay free-agent forward Chris Copeland, naglaro sa nakaraang season para sa New York Knicks.
Naglista si Copeland ng mga averages na 8.7 points at 2.1 rebounds per game sa paggiya sa Knicks sa Atlantic Division title.
Bago lumagda sa Knicks noong 2012, nag-laro si Copeland sa Belgium, Germany at Spain.
Kumampanya rin ang dating University of Colorado standout sa NBA Developmental League.
Itinuring naman ni Larry Bird, ang Pacers’ president of basketball operations, si Copeland na “a great addition’’ dahil sa kanyang versatility. Sinabi ni coach Frank Vogel na si Copeland ay isang “great story of perseverance and he reached a level where he was a key player on a 54-win team last year.’’
