Cornley posibleng ma-ban sa PBA
MANILA, Philippines - Kapag napatunaÂyang nagkasala, posibleng hinÂdi na makalaro sa PBA ang dating import ng Rain or Shine na si Jamelle Cornley.
Ito ang sinabi ni PBA Commissioner Chito SaÂlud matapos ang pagwaÂwala ni Cornley nang maÂnakawan ng tatlong babae ng halagang $1,400 haÂbang nasa loob sila ng isang motel sa Quezon CiÂty.
“I understand that this is now a police matter where facts will continue to be established. Mr. Cornley is not currently associated with the PBA in any manner whatsoever,†ani Salud.
“If the allegations and charges in this incident are proven to be true, I see Mr. Cornley as having zero chance of playing in the PBA again, at least not under my watch,†dagdag pa ng Commissioner.
Ayon naman kay Rain or Shine co-team owner Raymund Yu, susuportaÂhan nila ang dati nilang imÂport.
“Of course, we’ll be there to support him being our former import who helped us win our first championship,†wika ni Yu kay Cornley.
