Martin, naniniwalang may ‘calling’ si Sofronio

Masayang-masaya si Martin Nievera para sa narating ni Sofronio Vasquez na siyang nagwagi sa The Voice USA kamakailan. Ang binata ang kauna-unahang Pinoy na nanalo sa naturang international singing competition pagkalipas ng dalawampu’t anim na seasons nito.  “We all wanted that international fame and exposure, to be noticed. Filipinos have come and gone, third, maybe second. But no one has taken the title. He has The Voice by storm. To make it today, you need more than just a great voice and a good song. You need to have a calling. And his purpose was to make this country proud. An unselfish move because even though, he’s not yet in the business, he’s already taking something bigger than himself,” makahulugang pahayag ni Martin.

Naniniwala ang Concert King na mas marami pang Pinoy ang makikilala ang ta­lento sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo katulad ni Sofronio. “He has done something none of us has done before. And that means, whoever follows, there is a chance for you. We have already been making waves in other industries, sports, makeup, architecture, now in our field,” giit ng singer.

Napahanga ang lahat kay Sofronio nang kantahin ang A Million Dreams mula sa The Greatest Showman sa finale ng naturang kompetisyon. “I am sure Michael Buble (coach ng programa) gave all the great advice. But I texted him of the million dreams you have, save one for yourself. Because I know you are not dreaming for anyone else but for your family and the Philippines. But save one for yourself and you are already a winner. Those are the words I told him right before the competition and by God’s grace, he became the winner,” kwento ng Concert King.

Rob, sabik makasama ang anak

Nananabik nang makasamang muli ni Rob Gomez ang anak nila ng dating beauty queen na si Shaila Rebortera. Humiling ang aktor sa korte ng visitation rights para sa anak nila ng dating kasintahan. “We’re still on court. Trials muna, pinaglalaban natin ang oras natin,” pagbabahagi ni Rob sa 24 Oras.

Matatandaang kontrobersyal ang naging hiwalayan ng aktor at beauty queen noong isang taon. Umaasa si Rob na makakapiling ang bata ngayong Kapaskuhan. “Sana po matulungan tayo ng Diyos mapabilis ang pagdesisyon ng mga isip ng mga tao.
