At bukod sa nasabing pelikula, inilunsad din ang kanyang bagong single na If I Will Ever Love Again, composed by Ogie Alcasid.
“I’m really grateful but at the same time I’m really sad that Tito Leo Dominguez, he was not able to be here to watch it and to see the launch because it was his last project before he passed away.
“And it was his passion project, Isla Babuyan. So I’m happy but I’m also sad and a bit nostalgic,” malungkot na pahayag pa ng baguhang singer-actress.
“Normal, I mean, I know how to kiss, so it was fine. It was okay. You know, it’s just for work.”
At kumusta namang katrabaho si Jameson?
“It’s professional. It’s not weird at all. They’re very interested in whether I’m okay and how I’m doing. They ask if I’m fine, and it’s really comfortable. It’s not awkward at all. It’s bagay. Actually, yes, it’s good chemistry in the movie, I would say.
So, that’s how it goes. And with Paolo, it was just more of hard. Abangan mo na lang. More of like parang revenge but ‘yung character ni Jameson, that’s my love interest sa movie.”
“Yes, very down-to-earth. Tita Lotlot and her whole family are very down-to-earth, humble people. It’s so nice to see in showbiz.”
Sinabi niya sa akin, like, you’re not acting. Like, pretend na totoo ‘yung script. What would you do if this actually happened to you? So, you have to pretend talaga.
“Hindi, you have to think in your mind psychologically that it’s real; it’s not fake. What you’re going through. In order to show the audience and to make you all believe in our acting. So, that was her tip of that. It worked, naman, yeah, it worked.”
Pero ano ‘yung pinaka-challenging scene sa pelikula?
“It was dramatic scenes. But I would also say the most challenging was probably swimming on the beach. Kasi ang lamig talaga, ‘yung water parang it was like, siguro were at 11 night, and then we had to go in the water, and it was so cold. Syempre hindi ko pwedeng show ‘yung facial expression na malamig, you know. Parang I have to pretend na hindi malamig. Also, maraming rocks sa ocean, it’s so sharp. So, I would say that, yes,” pahayag pa ni Geraldine sa interview.
