Heart: ‘without Chiz i don’t know how will i survive!’

Muling pumirma ng kontrata si Heart Evangelista sa GMA Network. Mahigit labing-anim na taon nang nasa bakuran ng Kapuso network ang aktres.

Ayon kay Heart ay hindi madali ang kanyang mga pinagdaanan noong lumipat sa GMA. “I’ve been through so much with GMA. Sobrang dami kong pinagdaanan. No’ng dumating ako sa GMA, sobrang I was in a bad state of mind. I was heartbroken and I felt like I had nowhere to go. And they really gave me an opportunity. That was one of the biggest contracts I signed in my life. I’m just so, so grateful. To be given an opportunity, thank you so much. Hindi ako poproblemahin ng asawa ko. Kaya ko ulit bayaran ‘yung credit cards. But truly, thank you so much,” nakangiting bungad ni Heart.

Kamakailan ay itinalaga ang asawa ni Senator Chiz Escudero bilang Head of Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. Aminado si Heart na nakaramdam ng pangamba noong unang nalaman ang tungkol sa naturang katungkulan sa gobyerno. “No’ng una kong nalaman, kasi wala naman akong kamalay-malay sa mga ganyan. I tried to separate myself from politics the honest truth. I was happy for him, I was proud of him (being the Senate President). I didn’t know I had a role or whatsoever. Then all of a sudden you have to head this and that. Umiyak ako, nag-panic talaga ako. Kasi ang alam ko, anything that you associate with that, you get passionate. I’m afraid of that so I tried to shy away. The honest truth, I love it so much because I do my own thing. Meron akong mga ginagawa, points ko sa heaven mas importante. So I’m very silent, very sensitive about people questioning my sincerity. But with this platform, I’m able to do so much with other senate spouses. I am very lucky because I’ve worked with wonderful companies in the past that are all out. Parang feeling ko I have a purpose. I’m not sure how long I have but I will do my best. I love working.

“Nando’n ‘yung past nilang projects that we revisit, make sure that all structures and the homes are still good. So, I’ve been working endlessly, meaning with people. So, we can renovate, we can fix, we can refurbish. Everything that they’ve done. Home for the aged, adoption centers. Aside from that, I want to introduce new things. I don’t want to talk about so much because I want them to see. Collaborate, because at the end of the day, it’s not all about me. It’s the whole Senate spouses,” pagdedetalye ng aktres.

Matatandaang napabalita noong Abril na isinugod sa ospital dahil na-stroke diumano si Senator Chiz. Nilinaw naman ni Heart noon sa social media na maayos na ang kalagayan ng mister at walang dapat ipag-alala. “He’s very good, he’s super good now. It was a scary episode. It was a wake-up call for all of us to just really make sure that health is wealth. And now he’s doing very, very good. Everything perfect, and I make sure na perfect. Kasi if he goes, I go. If he jumps, I jump. Ako na lang ang mauna, hindi ko talaga kaya, huwag naman because it’s a cruel world. It’s a mean world and without Chiz I don’t know how will I survive.
