Nadine, pinasok ang paggagatas

Sumabak na si Nadine Lustre sa pagne­negosyo na katuwang ang kasintahang si Christophe Bariou.

Matatandaang ipinakilala sa publiko ng magkasintahan noong isang taon ang kanilang Maison Bukana Wines. Nailunsad naman kamakailan ang Dehusk plant-based milk na negosyo ng magkasintahan. “The first reason why we switched to more plant-based is really for the animals. We realized that these animals are actually individuals who are like us who deserve love and compassion and who deserve to exist in this world as well. I love eating meat, I love all of my cheese and all of that but then you know understanding how animal agriculture really works, that’s really a key component for us switching,” makahulugang pahayag ni Nadine sa Headstart ng ANC.

Mula sa pagiging isang aktres ay marami na ring natututunan si Nadine ngayon bilang isang negosyante. “Very challenging just because I entered a world that I’ve never explored before. There are so many things that I’m learning. It’s been an amazing thing so far because the pro­ducts that I’ve been involved with, they are all tied up to my values and my advocacies as well. So, it’s all purpose driven. To change people’s mind when it comes to dairy and for people to try out new things as well and I guess to push forward a more plant-based lifestyle,” paglalahad ng dalaga.

Grae, natakot kay Piolo

Simula June 17 ay mapapanood na sa TV5, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z at Jeepney TV ang Pamilya Sagrado na pinagbibidahan ni Piolo Pascual. Kabilang din sa bagong serye si Grae Fernandez na gumaganap bilang si Justin Sagrado na anak ng karakter ni Piolo sa bagong serye. Ayon sa binata ay talagang napahanga siya sa pagiging magaling na aktor ni Piolo. “As an actor, personally, I was terrified of this guy. He’s one of the biggest stars in this country and I had that adjustment period just to be comfortable being in the same scene as him. He just cares for his co-actors so much,” bungad ni Grae.

Matatandaang pansamantalang iniwan ng aktor ang show business upang mag-aral ng kolehiyo sa New York City. Magse-second year college pa lamang dapat si Grae pero hindi umano nagdalawang-isip na tanggapin ang bagong proyekto. “The story was so deep and so impactful to me. They pitched me the project and I resonated with that kind of life, with that kind of story. One of the main reasons na persuaded me to accept the project was to get the chance to work with one of the best actors in the country,” paliwanag ng anak ni Mark Anthony Fernandez.

Para kay Grae ay talagang kakaiba ang kanyang karakter sa serye. Umaasa ang aktor na maiintindihan ng mga manonood ang lahat ng kanyang ipakikita sa Pamilya Sagrado. “Not a lot of people will be able to relate with him. Kasi he’s at the top of the food chain in the country. What I want for me, as an actor, I just want the people to sympathize with him, not even to empathize. Just to understand bakit ang isang batang privileged na ganito kapag napunta sa isang ganitong scenario, bakit niya magagawa ang mga bagay na I think came from his own survival instincts,” pagbabahagi ng binata.
